ENVIRO PATROL® is our new line
of products that are DfE** or Green Seal* certified.
Environmentally preferred products are better
for the environment and better for your health.
By cleaning with products that are healthier for
the air, ground, streams, and lakes (or waterways)
there will be fewer chemical contaminants left
behind to inhibit your health. This means a cleaner,
healthier space to work, learn, heal, or play.
WHAT IS A GREEN

WHAT IS EPA DfE?
WHY GREEN SEAL?
Carroll Company is participating
in a partnership with government and in association
with others in our industry to understand the
limits of safety and performance of chemical products.
We are working to educate our distributors,
the consuming public, and each other based on
sound advice, not sensationalism. Carroll is pledged
to learn, develop, and influence others as we
advance.
We are using packaging materials
and containers that are recyclable. We are developing
waste disposal systems in our manufacturing and
support processes that yield cleaner wastewater
and less solid waste.
Carroll Company is already known
for our policy of strict adherence to regulatory
requirements - EPA, OSHA, RCRA, and industry standards.
We are going beyond compliance to become initiators
of conservative measures.
What
is a Green Cleaning Product?
A sustainable cleaning product is
one that performs and has a reduced effect on
environmental and human health when compared with
competing cleaning products that serve the same
purpose. Carroll Company believes that a sustainable
community will use its resources to meet current
needs while ensuring adequate resources are available
for future generations. It is because of this
commitment that the ENVIRO PATROL® product
line was created.

Why
Green Seal*?
Green Seal is the most widely recognized
name in environmental standards for cleaning products.
Green Seal certification to GS-37 Environmental
Standard is awarded only after rigorous evaluation,
product testing and an extensive manufacturing
process audit and plant visit.
* These products meet Green Seal's
environmental standard for industrial and institutional
cleaners based on its reduced human and aquatic
toxicity and reduced smog production potential.
